Festival Ends On High Note

The first mainstage act of the day was Tom Cochrane, with the classic Canuck rocker playing unplugged versions of hits like No Regrets and Big League. Prior to the event there was some grumbling among purists, about the addition of a Top 40 rocker to a folk festival, but stripped down Cochrane's songs, while generic at times, did display an earthy, storytelling element that fit the day.
